The sweet sounds of success

Try streetfire.net or putfile next video. little more veiwer freindly. 85 sound great. The SN needs a X-pipe or a longer crossover tube. If the h pipe has a short crossover tube it pops more. So, longer equals less pops.

Cool man....i would have thought the 85 would be louder with a 460, can't say i'm a huge fan of the no mufflers though, it's a little too poppy/crackly for me. I would never have guessed you were a skinny red headed guy though lololol

Yeah, putting the big block in the car with a TKO-600 turned out to be a real parts headache since nobody does it, but its done and drives like a 5.0. I drove around about 30 minutes the other day in 90 degree weather and it was running at 210 but stable. The torque pull during shifting is awesome. It just jerks your head back immediately without a buildup or delay. I can chirp the slicks in 3rd without trying, and roast them on dry pavement at just a 3000 rpm launch. I think I'll try some videos right now. Its hard to get good footage when your all alone, but we'll see. I need to finish this video sometime right?

LOL, awesome thing happened today. I was driving around in the 85, running some errands when I saw this guy that works at one of the other Midas's. This guy hates me for no reason, and he talks smack about Fords all the time. He's one of those rat rod types with an almost mullet. Anyways, he has a flat black 68 Chevy pickup with flames. Its a pretty hot rat rod I have to admit. Nice exhaust, cam and gear drive. Its pretty quick. So I see him going the other way down the street and I flip a bitch and chase after him. We are in turn lanes waiting at the light and I ask him to drag. He asks if its the big block car he heard about and I say yes. He actually says it sounds awesome. So the light turns and we clear through the traffic when all of a sudden the light ahead turns red. BINGO!!!
Again, I ask if he wants to drag and he says he'd clean me if he had traction. So we both are revving and he jumps the light. He denies it but he hit it while it was still red. He was watching the cross light, but he jumped it. Anyways, I go but give it too much and waste the slicks in 1st and then 2nd but I'm walking him. I was short shifting because of the traction. I'm half a length ahead of him when all of a sudden it grips when I hit 3rd, and I'm gone. I look back and he's way behind. This was the first drag I've been in since getting the car running, and the first drag since I moved back to Illinois, 2 years now. It was an awesome feeling wasting this rival mechanic and Ford hater, plus popping the cherry of the 466!!!! Yes, today, I do RULE!!! Scot= the cool

You didn't break many laws there red :rlaugh:

Seriously though, you've gotta get that damn thing out and beat the crap out of it!

Do it like this http://videos.streetfire.net/video/21e39b46-3c04-4d44-a17d-3018119abb72.htm Which isn't that bad considering i wasn't even driving it (my buddy can't hold a camera still for $hit).

Well the thing is, the cops kept driving down my street a few minutes before and I got out of it after second because this old couple was sitting on their porch watching the whole thing, lol. I made a better, longer one yesterday but it wouldnt download off my camera. Dont worry, I'm still working on the compilation vid.
