Careless driving is a judgement call of the officer and will almost always stick.
In Oregon reckless driving is a traffic crime which is much worse than careless driving.
A very polite Oregon State Trooper explained all of this to me a few years back
Get a lawyer.If he can get it reduced to careless.....you're doing alot better..........maybe he'll get it tossed out all together
