What a beautiful and unforgiving vehicle. I had a pic of a red viper prototype on my binder way back in nursing school. Was my daily motivation. I never owned one but got to spend a track day in one and had a driving instructer destroy a set of tires with me in the passenger seat on another occasion. What a visceral thrill.
I love you have to know how to drive them or they will bite you. I hate asking modern cars for permission to do anything. Used to be you had to know how to start you car. 2 pumps when cold. Crank too long and battery dies. 2 pumps when hot could flood it. Have to wait an hour and try again.
Now days the computer does all that for you so you can concentrate on more important things. Like updating social media while driving. I know there is a significant percent of our population that see cars as merely transportation. A day in this car will either scare you into automated driving or give you back your control of the world. Even if it ends when you step out of the vehicle.
