thermostat and oil pressure sending unit

should i stay with motorcraft for my 180* thermostat or are there better ones out there? i'm getting another one b/c the last 180 degree i got from oreillys started to stick after 4000 miles and it was the more expensive of them all.

as far as the sending unit, motorcraft also or does it not really matter b/c they are all somewhat inaccurate compared to a mech guage?

I have a Mr. Gasket balance 180* thermo in my car. Works great

Mr Gasket is the best I've found too. I hear good things about the other performance-oriented stats too, but never thought to mess with what works for me. The local hot rod store here has Mr G stats for 10 beans.

Agreed about your temp sender. I paid $4.19 at the parts store for a new one.
