Ok well i had been running my car without a thermostat for ever, according to my haynes manual i should never do this because it messes with my emissions system and fuel management yadayadayada... but anyway i know that it was really affecting my mileage so i installed one today but i installed a low temp one and my car still runs at the same temperature which is below normal on cold unless its at idle which it runs inbetween n and o and well i know that a low temp thermostat is obviously too cold, you guys think i should just take it back and go for a mid temp or high temp thermostat? and this is all with the A/C off with the A/C on the needle doesnt even move from below cold, havent tried yet with the low temp thermostat installed but id imagine it would be the same outcome, so if you guys could help me out here that would be cool , thanks

OEM or just a thermostat at all would be beneficial.

ok well i installed the 195 degree thermostat which is OE and the car doesnt smell like its running rich anymore, so right now the car is running between n and o and sometimes at r is that where it is supposed to be running? im not sure but yea the car feels better but its only been 30 minutes so lets see how it is in the next week and how my mileage is in the next week.
