ok this will prob. be an answer for jrichker or anyone else that has a lot of computer experience... i think my friends computer is toast... i measured the resistance of the wire from the comuter to the end of the wire for pin out 46 and it is all the same... im gonna pull the computer out tommorow and see what the resistance is between pin out 46, 40 and 60 to confirm this... if all else fails i will throw in my computer an see what happens....
think the computers toasted...

If you ground the signal return & you can get codes & the sensors start "reading" normal with a volt meter I would agree the EEC is shot.. same exact thing that happened to mine.
well see thats the thing... in order to get codes i had to ground out the STI and the STO seperate, then jump them just to get the computer to spit out codes... its actually my friends 89... it has the same a9l that my 90 has in it, so i figured we would just swap em out to see what would happen.....
