I used the normal one. but it sounds like the Carbon is better for higher horse power and racing applications.

Do carbon clutches 'lock up' harder or do they just last longer?

Exactly what road are you on when you maxed out 4th gear and then "hit fifth"? At 6K RPMs, 3.73 gears, 26" tall tires and a typical 4th gear ratio of 1:1, you'd be travelling at 124 MPH. Why do you need 5th?

Didn't kill the top speed of my car, around 160mph on the GPS

Never bought from them but didn't like my 3.73's in my old 2V and went with 4.10's.

No problem at all, I have an auto and as I said before I love my 3.73s and top speed will not suffer at all. I'v been to 140 with no issues and she would keep going if I let her.

4.10's in an automatic means if you're on the highway you had better keep it under 70mph or less. Crusing in the 3k range will kill your mileage and probably burn some oil on top of that if you're on a long drive.

i should restate that it will still do 155-160 but it takes forever it takes longer to go from 120-150 than it took to get to 120 from say 30........ maybe with 400+ hp its not to bad

So I'll ask again, where are you guys doing 150 - 160 MPH (so I'll know to avoid any such towns and roads)? 150 - 160MPH on a US public highway? That's just plain stupid folks...please tell me you were on a closed course...
