thinking about getting different heads...

i know i'm having a timing issue right now, but i'm thinking of getting different heads...either gt40 x turbo swirl or afr 185's???what do yall think??

I think 185's have issues with stock pistons

Also I see the gt40x and tubro swirl as being in the same class
but
The 185's are kinda the next step or next level

Now the 165's would be closer to being in the same category
although
I believe they are more efficient than either of those other two

what heads do you have now? TFS or what?

IF you have TFS heads I would port them before going with another slightly bigger head brand.

Seems like everybody are choosing Trickflow or AFR. How about holley heads? What's wrong with them?

I have heard of great results from Eldb. heads...but yeah I always forget about holly stuff...damn good question. You just dont see many holly head setups.

i have cobra gt40 heads right now...i was wanting just a little more hp...and they are alittle lighter....

I think they are fixed now but I know they had geometry problems on there valvetrain. Last I heard (or checked) AFR was making their heads so they are a pretty close copy of AFRs.
