It was just a practice test, he hasn't even taken the real test yet.

Their was afew people I went to basic training with, and also my "A"school with, and worked with guys out in the fleet with, who flunked out of BUDS training for the SEALS. The percentage of people that make it are very slim. Most don't make it out of the first 8 weeks of training. I'm not sure what they do with you when you flunk out of it. Whether they just give you any job that has open slots, or you can still pick a job your interested in.

Have you ever thought about attending a school that offers a naval ROTC program? I currently am in the army ROTC at texas tech. I want to be in aviation just like you, and I decided that this was a good way to get that done. I got a 90 on the ASVAB and I decided that this gave me a fair chance at making it in aviation. If you are sure you want to be in the navy as an officer, you might want to consider this. I am contracted to be in the army for 8 years after i graduate but i think only 4 has to be active duty. The army pays for all my school minus housing and i also get a monthly allowance. After graduating, you become an officer and get sent to the area in which you apply for depending on your rank compared to other cadets(judged on many different things) . Aviation is very competitive so if you want to be in it, you have to be sure to make very good grades and stay physically fit. Again, this is for the army, but im sure the naval program is very similar.
