So its not even done yet, but I'm already thinking of selling it. i still need to paint it and fab the exhaust, downpipe back, but i feel like i need to start something else, just wondering what i should be able to realistically get for it come spring if i still want to get rid of it.
heres my cardomain site with some pics: http://www.cardomain.com/ride/2198841
and heres the rundown
94 v6 auto i converted to 5.0 5spd, 94 t5, forged piston 5.0 stock shortblock rebuilt, ported e7 heads, arp studs, cam advanced 4 degrees, stock fox intake and vc's, 30# injectors, fmu, c&l73mm maf, all relocated wiring and when i get the a/c lines on, the ac will be fully functional.
tp-38 powerstroke turbo , 31x12x4" intercooler, turboxs rfl bov, deltagate,
8.8" 94 disc rear with 3.73s , 17x9.5"? polished cobra r wheels,
leather dual power seats, electric fp guage, volt Gauge and boost Gauge, no wing, brand new paint (when i sell it), tweecer r/t
runs fantastic without a tune,
as of now the current setup (engine and turbo) have 11 miles on it from my back street, pulls almost 10 psi in first gear with a 9lb spring, spools fast, feels very fast.
I'm just worried I'm gonna kill myself like i almost did in my last 94, plus i want to move on to other projects, that can make me money!
let me know what you guys think as far as an asking price i should start at...

oh yea and rate my car if you can

before or after finishing it (paint ...)?

if the interior is good and the body/paint is good, it seems to me you could get at least $10K for it, probably more

$10K sounds reasonable to me, you have done alot with that car.

For something that modded I think it could be hard to sell. If you sell it to someone new to the speed game then they may bring it back to you at the first sign of problems. IF you sell it to someone who has been around mustangs and more importantly mustangs with turbo systems it could sell much faster. I think it really depends on who you can get to look at it, then make reasonable offers. I dont mean to come down on you but when cars get changed as much as yours, it makes it much harder to sell (they are much more prone to breaking down and just being down right undependable).

If I were you I would dyno that thing post some impressive numbers on ebay and sell it to someone sight unseen (hopefully). I would refrain from posting any 1/4 mile times, people would immediatly think your car is beat on and look elsewhere. Selling your car through ebay makes it so that you are only responsible for collecting the money, nothing else.

Now what exactly do you mean by "starting a new project that can make you money?" I dont really know how to make money with a car, its usually the opposite- a friggin money pit. I knew from the beginning that there is no way I will get any return on the money I invested in my car, it just doesnt happen.

Note: I just speak from my personal experience, Ive gone pretty far with my mods and I do not see them ending anytime soon. My car should be pretty streetable but it is not, infact sometimes it is a handful especially in traffic.

Good luck and I would like to say that if you want to make money with a car yours may not be the one as you have stated. I would suggest sticking with it, it looks like you are really close to the finish line.
Enjoy it!
(Still sober and fine with it)

i didnt delete the antenna, i just bent it at parallel to the windshield.

my new project may or may not be a car, but i have made money on every car i have sold ever, pretty substantially too.
youd be surprised at how little cash i have into this car.

i searched ebay but couldnt find a comparable car to kinda get a price figure with...

with a working, tuned turbo set-up and new paint and body work, 10K sounds awesome. all the work is done and if you can get the buyer comfortable by emphasizing all these things, plus a clean interior, working a/c, and a smooth idle, i'm sure you'll get more than a couple of people interested for that amount.

personally, i'd keep the car, but if you end up wanting to sell, good luck.

Super 302,
You kind of got me there. That may have been a poor word choice, but you know there are many people who get negative returns on their investments (like online stock traders, as a whole they lose more money than they gain). Keep in mind not every investment comes back with a positive ROI.
Oh and you are not a loser,
-fawcett
My ROI is the enjoyment I get out of my car (measured in Utils), it has nothing to do with making a profit with its sale.
