Hey guys, I'm considering some lowering springs but wanted to know perhaps what brand i should be looking at. What do you guys find to be the best? Is it okay for me to look for some used ones?
Just cut your stock springs. 3/4 coil front and rear. Its free, you'll get the ride height your looking for, and it wont effect ride quality. The cobra springs are linear rate so cutting them won't effect spring rate too much.
This is my ride with 3/4 rear and 1/2 front...could have gone a bit lower in the front
i am not sure. i know i started at a 1/2 but kept cutting little more and more till i liked it. i bet it was around 3/4 in the front and 1/2 in the rear. Doesn't take long to replace them after you do it a few times. Cut little by little so not to take too much.
