For the car that is. I like my chrome 03 wheels but the problem is when people see the car they walk right by it because they think its a cobra.....so I wanna change it up. I want something different. I was thinking of going 18", but everyone has 18" saleens whcih is what I would want. So since my 17" tires are like new, I fig. maybe some 17" FR500's. Get them powdercoated gloss black. And either leave them like that, or put a small red pin stripe on the lip...I have seen the black with red stripe on a red car and it looked killer, something different....so what ya think

flat black, red pinstripe

but since your car is so shiny id do the gloss black with red stripe

or you could be opposite and do red with a black lip

I've seen pictures of another guy with the Y2K Cobra rims gloss black with a red pinstripe and they look sick. Also, try looking into some other kind of rim that no one else has, I.E. aftermarket forged ones..

I thought about something forged etc, but before I spend $2000+ on wheels I will build a shortblock haha

Ha, true that man, I'm with yeah, I'll just get finish my suspension/rear end/Vortech/shortblock before I order the CCW's I want!

I would think the gunmetal Saleens would look really nice, or some Deep Dish 95' R rims, but I would look into the satin or black Y2K Cobra R's first. Maybe someone with some handy photoshop skills could do some work for ya.

I wouldnt mind some 03/04 wheels in black chrome because they wont stand out as much. I thought about some of the Anv. wheels in arch. grey or whatever....but then there would be no flashy....but a little sleeper looking maybe haha

Lets see....Cobra wheels, Cobra hood, Cobra mirrors, Cobra front Valance.....isn't that kinda the look you were going for?

Don't touch a thing on your car. It's PERFECT the way it is. Sometimes less, is more.

Thanks all! I actually picked the car up with the exterior the way it is.....so I cant take credit where credit is due. Maybe I will just save up for some of the new Race Star industry wheels....some 17" skinnies up front and 15" out back with some track meats......anyways thanks. I am getting the car ready for the All Ford National car show at Carlise soon and I guess we will see what happens this year....got pretty many sweet comments on the car....this year the intercooler will be hiding behind the front bumper......maybe I should forget about wheels and save for some tan termi seats for the inside!!!!

We shall see. Thanks for the comments all! The other day I dropped the car off to get inspected, and being the nice husband I am, I told my wife she can drive it home when we go pick it up. Man, I never knew how the car sounded from a different presepctive...and to see it driving down the road etc....holy chit it looks sinister!!!!!!!!!

I already know what I want to do next....RETURN fuel system!!! From the back of the car, all you see is the Fat tires and the gas tank.....so how sick would it be to have some big fuel lines hanging down....it would say DONT MESS WITH ME LOL. Oh well....some day!
