those novi 2000 superchargers! Come in!

its strange, a lot of guys on this site have the vortec and mostly kb blowers. there are not alot of the novi 2000 even though i understand it is a great blower.

i have one and have it in the works for myself. i wont have it up and running untill the summer though.

capable and what will it run on your set up are 2 different animals.

it capable of 26 or 27 psi which will make huge hp numbers. most people will never spin it that hard. you would have to build a whole new car from the ground up to support that boost and hp.

now it just depends on how much psi you are going to push with it and you other mods. if you decide to spin it for anything higher then 12psi i would suggest a built engine cause you will probably blow yours up. im going to spin it until i see 15 psi. i estimate about 520-550rwhp based on my mods, but i have every bolt plus cams and heads.

so it really just depends. if you spin it with about the stock 8psi you will not see any more POWER then any other blower at that psi. mabey a little because the novi is supposed to flow better. BUT that would put u in the 350-370 range.

add in regular bolt ons and you might see 370-400 if you have long tubes.

i have a novi 2K. i'm right in the middle of my engine build, but i'm looking for mid 600's with the novi 2K. running a 2.7 blower pulley and a 10% OD crank pulley. the engine has cams, ported heads, P51 and the list goes on and on.

the 2K is well capable of 600 RWHP. check over on MPH forums, they have a tuning results section with a lot of novi cars:nice:

I have a novi 2k as well I put down 576 HP with a bored and stroked 302 forged block.

I have my p-51 intake all coated and finished. My husband and I will be installing it tomorrow along with my new fuel rails. Whoot Whoot!
I also got a 2.65" RR pulley and a 10% overdrive pulley 8 rib kit.
New dyno numbers will be comming as soon as I get the tranny rebuilt.
I am hoping for close to 700HP, and then I will be done with the engine.

Before I swapped the engine I was using 42# injectors with the stock fuel system. I also used the stock pulley that came with the paxton kit. It put down 389HP. (note- my kit is intercooled)

After I swapped the motor, I just swapped the blower pulley to a 2.9RR 6 rib. I also upgraded my fuel injectors to a 60#, and put in new pumps and the cobra tank. I also got a new clutch. That time it made 576HP. I think it would have done much better had I not had so much belt slip from the 6 rib set up. I was also only making 13#s of boost with this run as well. If I kept the stock displacement of the block the boost would be a lot higher.

I know I have shared these before, but here are the vids I have of the dyno run.

When I install the novi I'll also be installing 60# injectors, SCT 2400 MAF, KB BAP with my 255 Pump with a 3" pulley on the blower and a 5% overdrive crank pulley. I have been told that my fuel setup will be maxed around 550rwhp and thats as far as I want to go due to not wanting to go to a COMPLETELY new fuel setup I.e. Aeromotive pump, sumped tank ya know the works!
