what springs and bushings do you have in your mechanical advance? and what do you have your initial timing set at?

Right now I have the stock heavy silver springs, i was thinking about going to a heavy silver and a light silver or with two blues.

Any thoughts?

I am running the two blue medium springs, and the stock 21* stop bushing. With 14* initial I should have 35* total timing. No pinging when I'm blasting through the gears.

I have yet to go on a dyno to tweak further.

I think the vacuum advance is causing my car to ping while cruising on the highway though.
