Those with 1 piece headlights with Halo rings...

Has anyone tried to remove the Halo ring? IE. Dissasembling the headlight and physically pulling the Halo ring out?

I like the one piece look but HATE that damn Halo ring. If the halo ring is removable, i think that it could potentially look WAY better.

I was thinking about just unhooking my halo. You never know what there is behind the halo. Could be some holes that will look ugly and let in moisture. I like how they look when off, but Im thinking about unhooking the halo. I would do it to test it out, but it took me like 2 days to actually get them it. they are a PITA.
