I just installed my shift light in preparation for going to the track this weekend.
I set it to 6000rpm and took it out. The light comes on between 5700-5800rpm going by the stock tach. This is no surprise as I know the stocker can be inaccurate.
Here's the weird thing. I set the shift light for 2000rpm, and the light comes on at 1800rpm. I thought the tach was accurate down low, but more inaccurate the more rpm. This shows it is off by about 200rpm all the way through.
Has anyone else experienced this or tell me how far off their tach/lights are?
