I tried installing mine today and found the fit to be off. Where yours the same way? I am thinking about cutting the ends and using the ends of regular hoses and installing them like that. How did you install yours?

You didn't say which Chrome hoses so I'm guessing you're talking about the Mac Chrome Radiator hoses?
Mine fit fine no problems at all, but a friend of mine lower hose was to long and the last word I heard was he was going to cut it and make it fit. I don’t see any problem at all cutting them to make them fit with the exception you’ll need to seal the raw metal up after you cut it to keep it from rusting out eventually.
I used the end off the old radiator hose instead of the Blue Silicon hoses that were sent with the chrome pipes
I did however weld some small nubs on the pipes to make sure that the rubber hose didn't slide off.

You're right, I am talking about the radiator hoses. I installed a new Ron Davis Radiator today so I am thinking thats why they arent fitting right. Thanks for the pic and info.

wow i hope mine fit.. i just got mine last week
im going to be putting it in with a granatelli aluminum radiator..
i hope it fits. f**k, ill be pissed if it doesnt

i have ron davis radiator and those hoses and mine wouldn't fit either. i think i can cut the lower hose but i had to slid the radiato over about 1 " you can tell in this pic it is more to the pass side. but they look nice. im not too worried about the lower hose but i will cut it and see if i can make it work

Well, I am going to the parts store to get new radiator hoses. But I am going to try and slide my radiator like you did to try and at least get the upper one on. I need a hold down plate. Where can I get one?

Thanks for the info and help guys. :nice: I am going to order one today. I couldnt get the top mac hose on so I just put new rubber hoses on from the parts store. I just need to get an electric fan next.

how much is that radiator? does it come with the cooling fan or overflow installed? looks sweet.

also what belt size are you running? Im going to be running alternator, water pump, (a/c delete), power steering and crank. never ran a belt without the supercharger installed before. thanks,
