I know I'm just a "little bit" biased about the car color/graphics scheme but you have to admit how sweet looking this 04 S281SC coupe is. Whoever took those pictures for the ad knows what people like me want to see!!!! Excuse me while I

This car was on the showroom floor of the dealership where I bought my car. It's got some great options on it, including the 6spd. The car is historic too because I sat in it once, but for some strange reason they forgot to put that in the eBay ad.

I saw this same auction today, too, Robert & immediately thought of your little obsession.

Of course the color scheme matches my own Saleen, too...

Yea, I saw that one as well. That's the white on white with the blue that I mentioned in another post as one of my favorites Robert. I seem to remember you giving me crap about it. It is much, much nicer then the white/white/black deal. If I only had another garage, or not so much sunken into mine...

I give so much "crap" to a lot of people that I don't remember that one Dave You might want to find the thread where that was at, to jog my memory
Look at it from this point of view.......in sports, the coach will constantly be on the case and yelling at the athelete that he knows has more potential then what he is getting. It's when he stops yelling at you that you know he has given up on you....... I see potential you Dave, when I stop giving you "crap" you know I've given up hope Besides, I like to think of it as "sarcaism or humor" rather then "crap"

Thanks Joe.......Cept those wheels on the vert aren't the 99-04 "newer" wheels. They too are Speedlines as well, only the Magnesium ones

On a side note, I noticed you added the "explorer express eaton" blower on your XP8. I remember Tommy talking about that on the exploerex board earlier this week.....Two questions
1). What company or brand is the CAI?? That inlet tube looks huge!!

2). What type of information do you have about that Eaton blower. It might be a thought for the prototype if it can pass CA smog as the Powerdyne is a piece of *hit that is no longer a legal blower out here.....Thanks

As far as your rims, i didn't know the magnesiums were speedlines, but i meant i like the flat spokes on the sn95 style cars. Nevertheless, very nice.

The EE kit is legal, simple and reliable. There is also a pulley floating around for it, to get 8lbs instead of 6. Coupled with the fact that it's like any other eaton of this style and can be ported too. It's obviously no race blower, but adds a nice kick, and is not much more involved than an intake swap to install (although mine was on it when i purchased the truck, dealer installed)
The CAI is from John at Demolet motorsports, i called him up, and talked to a while, and he's like "let me send you something", took a few times to get the parts right, there is reducers at the TB end, but the flange for the Maf fits perfectly. Only thing i don't like is that it sits on the radiator hose, i should of did a quick bracket fab, but this is 2-3 years ago now.

He said he'd sell them the way it sits on my truck for around $110, that's with the filter, seems fair to me. I love how the eaton screams through it.
Here's how it looked when he sent it to me.

Sorry, old bad pic, but it's the only one i have.

If anyone has GENUINE interest in this car...I can look at it for you. It is in my home town.

This dealer loves to buy low mileage collectable cars...mostly Italian stuff...and just wait for a buyer. They are associated with a dealer up north....Baystates? I might be wrong. It has been a long day.

Let me know if anyone is a serious buyer. If it were only an S351....I would be there. I'm sure it is a VERY nice car.

Dan

Robert,
Just so you know, when i said above "took a few times to get the parts right".
That's because mine was the prototype, and he had never done one before, not because he screwed up the order. (i just wanted that to be clear to protect his rep).
Extremely nice guy, i'd do business with him anytime.

Robert, I installed the Eaton on my XP8 w/help from a friend and it was very easy. We had it on and running in 4 hours taking out time.
