Now this is one nice ride. What are your thoughts?

Personally, I'll take 20 or so less hp over butt ugly any day. The vertical scoop looking things below the headlights totally ruin the car, it reminds me of a toyota or a lexus. Whoever designed that look should be fired. I'm glad I got a 17

All in all, most of the changes are to aesthetics. They curved all of the straight cues. The head lamps are totally LED driven, including turn, fog, and high and low beam.

Dual clutch. Magnetic suspension. Direct injection, too. But I wouldn't expect too much gain because it would infringe on the GT350's territory. Ford needs an excuse to charge $20k more for an additional 90 horsepower.

I honestly would wait until 2020. I believe that is the next model change and I anticipate they will up the HP to keep up with the pissing contest. I think the S550 platform is mostly being used to experiment with IRS, magnetic suspension, and direct injection capabilities on mass production scale (reliability and capability).

I don't think it's that bad looking of a car contrary to what most people are saying. I did a rendering a few weeks ago when they announced the car and I think with a couple subtle changes the car could look killer. I do agree that the next refresh of the car will be much better though. I'd still like to get my hands on one of the 2018s if possible but that's probably not gonna happen.

I think Ford should make a 720hp Mustang with hardware able to support it such as springs, sway bars, brakes, tires, etc.. that amount of power sounds like a good number to me. I know Dodge is coming out with a Demon with probably around 800-900hp but it's meant as a straight line dragster. Mustang sticking to a track car would be best and make it available to the public. Let's say.. $72K just to match the hp I came up with. LOL Would be a sweet ride! They did a good job with the GT350R.. it killed the comparable Camaro on the track! B)
