Here comes the criticism.. anyways. Ever since i watched Fast 5, I have always wanted a mustang with a brush guard. Seeing the chargers in the movie decked out with the winches and fabricated parts sparked my interest. Has anyone seen a mustang, of any body style, with a brush guard?? If so, i would love to see the pictures. I have seen two photos on google images. Any ideas on how to mount the brush guard to the car are appreciated!

I want to make one for my fox ever since the deer accident. Something squared, pointy, and aggressive. That way if one runs out in front of me, I just impale it & keep on cruising.

Even Mad Max didn't have one on his Ford Falcon Interceptor and he had no problem running people off the road! The push bumper setup on the Transformer's Barricade Saleen Mustang looks nifty...if you are a cop.

I would suppose if you are dead set on the idea and don't let anyone disuade you; you would most likely need to alter the bumper foam absorber and weld brackets on to the bumper cross member section of the unibody. There is literally no where else to mount it! Perhaps you could run a longer bracket to the k member? Oh...and don't forget the trailer hitch on the back! You sure as hell better have like 1200 HP on tap as well, the extra weight is sure to slow you down.

One last thing...Fast Five set the record for the most cars destroyed in a movie with 260 total, many in the scene you described. IMO, don't let yours make it 261!

This is all just a thought and a dream... a mustang GT with flat black paint and a badass looking front end would truly be unique, but i have neither the paint or the brushguard. @TeamCaffeineGT , you are right about there not being many places to put the support..

I think its a neat idea but would wear thin rather quickly. After a couple weeks or months, you would start to regret having that thing on there. But a flat black stang can be bad all by itself.

Wow...lol.. I was looking for the same thing.. no one has heard of a rally bumper or light rail before? Drift cars use them, would've saved a few deer repairs... Pretty surprised.. suppose CAD and welding is in my future.. haters. Lol
