Here is my point. As some of you know I am selling some stuff on Ebay. Well I get this messege from a member with a good feedback score and high sales from within ebay about one of the auctions. I have gotten phishing emails but never one directly within my ebay mail. It sounded phishy (like it is questioning another auction I had with the same item - which is totally out of the question) it also had a link to the supposedly repeat auction. So I am thinkin someone got this poor guys info and is now phishing people. So I decided to test the phishing filter on IE7. I close out everything and open a new browser and go to the link. KAPOW IE7 actually blocked the site and told me it was a phishing site. Then I fowarded it to Ebay's Spoof Service.

Okay I was a little bit reluctant to install IE7. It is kinda nice though. They are thinking of some of the nieve people that may not see these things coming. Microsoft was a little behind on the browser. Now you can open more than one window in a browser hahah. And there are full screen modes an what not. I have found a few litttle bugs but nothing major and I am sure they will be fixed.

Hate it, from a developer stand point it is garbage. You want a standards based totaly safe browser get Opera. FireFox and IE 7 have been copying ideas and playing catch up with Opera for years.

I do not like IE in general, but version 7 is much better (stable, robust, simple, cleaner) compared to version 6.

You guys think IE 7 is different...wait until you see Office 2007. It is a complete revamp of previous versions. Nothing is the same and they even go as far as to save files in new formats that aren't recognized by older versions - unless you save the file in an older format. There are a lot of changes coming our way...

You know what's cool about IE7? Deleting it and installing Mozilla Firefox...

I prefer Firefox, but for IE only sites, it is better than 6.

I'm selling something ebay now and got the same email this morning. It provided a link to another item that was supposidly the same as mine but before it would go there it asked for my user name and password. Seemed odd that it ask for both, username always comes up automatically. Seemed wrong so I did not enter any info. I'll have to send to ebay.

I installed it and had it on for about a week, the Text was way too intense and was making my eyes burn, I tried everything to change the Text and could not so I ended up uninstalling it.

There is a text enhancement mode to make certain web pages eaiser to read, I find it does make all sites hard to read too much contrast it seem. You can disable this option though.

I tried to disable and change all the Text Settings, but nothing worked right, it seemed like it was set up for someone with terrible eyesight, it just burned my eyes from being way too intense.

You are so edgy and cool. I think people like you, who trumpet the little guys who do it SOOOOOOO much better, are just forking totally sweet. Kudos, my friend. Kudos. I'll bet you don't drink Starbucks either, for some obscure and totally irrelevent reason.

Keep on truckin'. Your purist and snobby niche is a small one, but the rewards for being so advanced are many.
