I ran into these on Summit Racing the other day and I think they're pretty nice. A little pricey, but they look like a nice evolution of the older-style cast aluminum, tall Ford Racing valve covers. LMR sells them as well for the same price (free shipping, though = win). I think I'll be getting a set of these (the blue ones) after my 1" upper plenum spacer arrives.

Those are nice...plus I like the FRPP stuff myself. I got a set of the billet Alum to go on my new 331 and would like to find something that'll kill some RR noise. Those look like they damp some sound. Hopefully they clear our alternators as most cover like to hit, even FRPP stuff. They def look like the old Fox ones.

Heres another set I found for a reasonable price. I run a 1" spacer as well so I can tall VC's.

Heres my 99.00 billet ones... they needed to be modded bigtime to get around the alt issue.

i almost bought those but went with the moroso instead because i was concerned about them hitting the alternator. and it doesn't look like you could "clearance" them without having to repaint them which is just a whole nother can o' worms.

I eventually want to install a March bracket system that will slightly relocate the alternator, so that clearance issue may end up being a non-issue. Hopefully. We'll see. Honestly, these would be for the new engine I'll (eventually) be building, so they may not see much use on the stock engine anyway.

The main reason I want a set of the FRPP covers is that my older brother bought me a set of the older style ones a while back as a birthday present. I sold them when I needed some quick cash. That upset him and I've felt bad about it ever since. :nonono:

I never understood why you would run tall valve covers unless you needed the clearance for stud girdles or something. Why go through all the clearance issues?
