guys i was wondering if there is anything to remove lock-light the thread locker from a bolt. i used it on a bolt on my shifter and i just wanted to see how you guys maybe soften that stuff up. i didnt think it worked so good that thing is really stuck. thanks for any ideas.

I don't know about this, but I'll bump ya since you're about to go off the first page.

Did you use red or blue locker? The blue is used on parts you will want to remove later, red is for 'permanent' locking and is very difficult to remove the bolt.

ADRENLN:

Heat and a brass bristle brush will get the stuff out of the threads. I use a paint remover heat gun but a propane torch will work -- just be very careful because you don't want to overheat the fastener. Check the Loctite website, loctiteproducts.com, too.
