Threads...

Tried instaling a temp sending unti into the oil pan but the cheap fitting they gave me broke and i am wondering how to get the threads our?? They are not in oil pan... Anyway to back the threads out?

Can you get a pair of vise-grips on them, if not then drill it out. Just be careful.

try everything possible to use vice grips or something; i'd bet that fitting is brass, which will probably be hard to get out w/ an easy out or screw extractor. You could try a screw extractor, but you have to drill a hole in the fitting first and i'm not sure how well it would work if the fitting is indeed brass.
