I threw a rod in my Turbo 4.6 3v.
I found a block for sale for $1000 with apr studs and main studs. I was wondering if anyone here knows how much hp the block is good for. Thanks!

There's a lot of mixed opinions on modular block ratings, but I haven't seen one yet that's been rated less than 600hp. Keep the timing on the conservative side and make sure your fuel system is up to snuff and the block will take more than that.

That's probably all your internals are rated for anyway.

flywheel.....but again, don't use those numbers as gospel. It isn't necessarily horsepower so much that kills them, it's RPM, timing and fuel that usually sends them south. How much power do you plan on making?

Engine Might have to get a Dart block but don't want to and if I do, then 363 instead of 331. Thoughts on what I've already bought so far.......
