Throttle Cable Pics

Not sure if the 98's the same as my 00, but here's something to check. When I took mine off, there's a groove around the bottom and then all the way up the passenger side of the cable linkage. The cable has to be wrapped under the linkage in this groove and up the side and then attach the end post. It's a little easier if you hold the linkage all the way open while you put the cable in place.
