Throttle/Fuel issue

When I go to leave from a stop I noticed that 3 days ago I just started stalling. Today I realized that when I hit the gas it takes mabye 1.5 seconds for the engine to actually go. Thats why I would hit the gas lightly and let the clutch out but the car would stall. what would cause this?
I dont know if its related but there is a popping noise coming from around the EGR and the #3 or #4 smells of gas. Nothing is leaking on the outside.
also when this stalling issue started I started having to give it some gas everyother time I start to get it to "take". MY a/f gauge is rich at WOT, Nothing at idle. and rides right in the middle if I am moving otherwise.

My PCV popped out one time and did the same thing as well as idle really high.
Check that PCV out.

I checked the PCV and it was in. I have a problem with mine popping out because the hose is short on it but it was in there this time. Anything else I should check?

it almost sounds like the throttle is sticking ...

or maybe the maf is going bad ...

I had my MAF go on me when I first got the car and the symptoms were different, they were more power related. It defintly feels like the throttle is sticking but it only does it at idle and it does it everytime. I took the cai off and it looked like it was opening fine manually. The cable seemed ok too
