Hi, I have a 65 convertible I6 auto transmission, I was under the rear of the car recently and I noticed what I think is the throttle valve vacuum line dry rotted out and not connected to the transaxle. The hose runs up into the body of the car and I assume (but am not sure) that it attaches in the engine somewhere. Any thoughts as to where it connects or the best way to repair or replace it? Should I run a new hose or try to splice in a repair section?
