It might take a while for the computer to relearn. Did you unhook the battery after the install? Mine did the same thing on my 03 after I installed it.

Return it and get the FORD 70mm TB and you will have NO problems.

first of it's not ohms you need to be reading but volts. adjust it for 0.99volts and then reset the computer. it does have to learn the new setting.

I also have the Accufab 75mm TB and had the same problem you are experiencing when I first installed it. I battled a bad hang idle and slow RPM drop and wouldn't idle below 1100 RPMs. True, it does take some time for the computer to learn the new throttle body, but mine never did.

I installed and removed my new Accufab two or three times, checked TPS voltage, sprayed for air leaks around the gasket...everything! I didn't want to mess with the allen head set screw because the note in the box said it was set from the factory. I drove the damn thing for a few weeks and went through the correct ECU reset procedure spelled out in the owner's manual and nothing would fix it.

I then re-installed the stock TB and the problem went away instantly. Well, I removed both of them and held them side by side in the light and sure enough...A LOT OF light could be seen shining between the bore and the blade. I continued to hold it up to the light and adjusted the set screw until I saw just a hint of light on the top and bottom and re-installed. Computer learned the idle in less than 5 minutes after the temp gauge came up into the normal range. Idles perfectly at 700 RPMs, no slow drops in RPM, and doesn't hang.

Try that out and see what you get...

Also, the voltage is roughly 0.95V closed and 4.0V at WOT. I think I had mine set at 0.98V closed and 3.99V with the TB wide open.

i just put mine on and when the idle wouldnt drop i bought that plate for the IAC valve to fix it. no idea what you guys are talking about with checking voltage and setting the blade; maybe ill have to look into that.

Just finnished adjusting my throttlebody put the TPS back to the setting that it came with out of the box from accufab car idles fine..still wondering where you find the voltage that was talked about in the other threads. As far as using a ohm meter on the TPS there are three prongs (A,B, and the third is unmarked) I though that you measured the ohms threw the A and B prongs and adjust it that way ,thats where I got the 1.06 reading(The 1.06 ohm number was via another thread I read on this forum. Checked the stock one from ford it showed .946 ohms accufab showed .946 ohms thats what I went with...
