Hey everyone, Finally got my 4 speed in the car, went to fire it up and was quickly greeted with a metal scraping sound, with this sound I pressed in the clutch and the sound was still there but had changed pitch.

So im guessing its my throwoutbearing?

I pulled everything apart, and spun the bearing by hand and noticed that it has a wobble to it also, while spinning it by hand it does make a bit of noise, not exactly a grinding noise like it has dirt in it, but it seems like its making a bit more noise than it should be.

So is this a bad throwout bearing?

Also I think im gonna try to use the throwout bearing I found off another bellhousing I had laying around, this one doesnt wobble at all and seems a lot tighter (meaning I cant spin it as freely, but it still spins smoothly) than the "bad throwout bearing"

What Im wondering is if the one I had in before was actually bad? and is there anything else I should check while I have everything taken apart?

I agree, and it sounds like you have a good plan. If you can grease the "new" one, do it, and don't forget to grease the sleeve it rides on.

yeah, the new one I have is greased up and feels nothing like the old one, it feels like the old one had no grease in it at all, I really hope it solves the problem, im ready to get the car back on the road, its been almost a year >.<
