Just got home with my *FREE* five lug conversion w/ rear disc... I was under the impression that it was SN95 stuff, but it turns out it's 87-88 lincoln lsc...but again, FREE being the key word here. It was actually an old ford racing kit that sourced lincoln parts I'm told....If the front brakes aren't large enough, I can always upgrade them later...but five lug with rear disc:nice:
Did I mention FREE??? Also with it I scored a booster I was told came from a 93 cobra.... I know I need to add a proportioning valve, but will my master cyl. for the drum rears work? I was told something about a check valve that's different between the two that won't interchange in the master cyl. Any body?

I couldnt see the master cylinder itself being any different between the two

My buddy I got the kit from said that he'd read or heard that when you release the brake, there is a check valve somewhere that maintains 5 psi on the line with drums, and around 2psi with disc to keep them snug against the drum/rotor for reaction time when when you apply pedal again...And he thought it was in the M.C., but maybe just in the prop block...

Anybody heard of this? This question should probably be in tech...maybe I'll post a thread over there...
