Ticking noise when idle (clutch?)

Hi,
I'm hearing a ticking noise when my car is sitting idle. I'm pretty sure it has something to do with the clutch because when i push the clutch down, the noise stops. Has anyone had this problem? Do you think it will be covered under warranty (2002 GT 25k miles).

It's your throwout bearing.Very common .Can be replaced,or turn you stereo up .Up to you.LOL! If still under warranty ,see if you can get it replaced.

There is a TSB # 03-16-4 AUG 03 Engine - Ticking Noise at Idle
check with your dealer.

My friend with a 2000 GT had the same problem. It was his throw out bearing.

Thanks for the responses guys. I'm taking it in on Monday and ill let you know what the problem was. I also have one more question. Since this problem started, I've noticed the clutch does not seem to be as strong. Does this mean the clutch is going, or could it be caused by the TOB?
