ticking noises from engine

I know you guys have covered this before but I am getting really annoyed with the ticking sound and the dealer just says its injectors and its fine drive it enjoy it but bull**** it sounds metalic to me and if they are injectors they I have the loudest injectors around. What do you guys think about this and what should i do Im allready talking with my lawyer about this and if i have to i will persue a lawsuit against them if they cant prove to me nothings wrong! Your input would be appreciated.

yeah thats what I heard too. Either the injectors or the valve train. IMO it sounds pretty cool.

The first time I heard it, I thought it was my headers leaking again.. but nope.. it'st he injector.. it gets annoying sometime...

i thought i had the tsb for the ticking, but my car has been doing this for a year and a half, and of course ford says it is fine. im starting to believe them or maybe i just am tired of caring. my boy just got a used 02 gt, he didnt even get it registered yet. car has 8, 000 miles. has the same ticking sound mine has. i am starting to think these cars just do really sound like this. my car is running as strong as ever and it has been ticking for a long time.

I say you are over reacting about it. It probably is just your injectors. Mine do it and have done it for the last 4 years and 75k miles. The car runs as strong as ever. Enjoy the car and one of the many things that are annoying yet common.
