Tightening gas pedal?

simple question. my gas pedal is soo easy to press down, is there anyway i can make it stiffer?

Stiffer? I dont think so...u can take up the slack in the pedal but that would make it more sensitive.

Put another/heavier spring on it at the throttle body. Problem solved.

Couldn't you put a stiffer spring on the throttle cable?

I don't see why you would want to, though. I can't stand a stiff gas pedal.

i like to have all my pedals balanced. my clutch and brake are super stiff, so id like the gas to be the same.

Uggh, the gas pedal in my 94 is real stiff compared to the fox. The stiff one drives me nuts (I keep thinking the floor mat or something is jammed underneath. And let's not read too much into that last sentence about stiffness and nuts).

A stiff pedal can be nice for heel/toeing, but I think you just get used to what you have (I'm used to the fox's easy pedal, for instance).

I think the other guys are right about the TB bell spring.
