main things you need is the shaft from the 87-89 car that goes to the steering box and to swap over the electronics from the 90+ to the 87-89 column. like your multifuntion switch lock and key, ignition switch on column, etc.
I put a tilt colum in a 93 and did away with the air bag. It did not have cruise so that did not matter. I also put an after market steering wheel while I was at it. Air bag won't work with tilt
