Hey Guys....

I own a 2001 Cobra and as you all know, the TB is alway 1st to go. So I am taking it to the dealer this weekend to have it replaced. While the have the tranny out I was thinking about installing a new clutch.

Question is, do i replace it with a stock one or do I go after market? And if I go aftermarket, what is a rebliable brand? I drive the car for pleasure, but always have that need for speed....

If you want it to feel and act OEM...go stock. It's an 11" clutch, so it can handle a lot of power. A lot of aftermarket one's tend to "chatter". So if you are just cruising on the street and intend no high rpm launches, go stock.

when i put in my Vspec T-56 i was going to get a SPEC stage 2 put in but i had the wrong size, so i just had a king cobra put in and with the DR's i bark the living crap outta 3rd. i even got some reduced pedal effort.

How's the Center Force clutch? I know I like to cruise but I am doing work to the motor....so far i am pushing close to 310 at the wheels and I'm looking for more....

is the chattering loud?

Don't put a stock clutch back in it, mine blew apart shifting into 3rd on the street(not power shifting). I have a Spec Stage II and it's less pedal effort than stock and hold up to my rev limiter launches at the drag strip.

Thanks for the infor guys. Is Spec Stage II better than Center Force? Looks like I'm going aftermarket.
