Planning on doing some suspension mods to the car after I get my intake put on. Wanting to start with a set of control arms and subframes. What parts would you guys reccommend for these? Any other "to do" suspension mods while I'm back there? I'd like to hook up decently with some d/r's on a h/c/i setup, which is what I plan on doing when spring time rolls around. Any suggestions? I don't want to start hacking the car up, but I don't want to have a weak suspension either. Just looking for some more parts to save and shop for. Thanks.

Between 500-1k, depending on how much I save. I figured some control arms and some SFC's would do the trick, and if I had to run some 50/50 shocks with 70/30's up front if they can be used in daily driving conditions. Right now I want to focus my performance on going fast in a straight line. Once I get out of school and get a good job, I may change my setup to handle better. Or buy a new car one, dunno. I just had 3.73s with moser axles put in so the rear end should be ready. Just need her to be ready to hookup when a lot of power is added. My goal is to put a a4 ls1 down by spring, when he returns home from school.

EDIT: I have a set of KYB shocks/struts on the car now that are OK but they are a couple years old now. Probably upgrade them sometime, since there not too hard to install.

Torque box reinforcments are a must. Full subrframes. And make sure you replace the upper control arms. The upper control were the worst part on my car that I have changed. The bushing were split in half and falling right out of the control arms. After I did the uppers my car felt like a million bucks....more solid acting.
