Sorry my combo outperforms most. I'll run this block hard, till it breaks I'm doing just fine.
Now, either help me for the reason I posted this, or please dont reply.

I think he wasjust concerned cause if the block goes...it could take a lot with it. But i guess u arent worrieda bout any losses.

Why dont u just ask vortech what losses you could experience down low compared to the S and what gains you would get up top?

If you plan to keep upgrading and run in a Renegade class get the YSI. The T or YSI will make enough to split any stock block though.

My combo is similar but I have a sportsman block. Again the YSI will come in a little later. I am mainly keeping it a street car so the extra umph from the YSI is not needed for my application. Vortech will steer you to a T -trim for 99% of all street driven applications at our power level. The T Trim supports well over 800 fwhp, that being good enough for 700+ at the wheels. The YSI is quite abit higher so consider there will be a trade off between power and driveability with it.

I can do some modeling with the 2 blowers and get a rough idea of the power bands from each on the same motor.

Good luck with your combo. Keep us informed how it does.
