Hey guys I have been seriously thinking lately that I wanna step-up to a T-Trim.
I'm currently running a S-Trim (for 3years+) and spinning the sucker for all it's worth. I'd like to boost 15lbs...but efficently. With my head/intake port work I will have to overspin the S-Trim to make that kind of boost.
The main thing is the CFM...the S-Trim is 1000cfm with a max of like 20psi and the T-Trim is 1200cfm with a max of 26psi. Another big one is the S max impeller speed is 50,000 where the T is 55,000.
With the new pullies I bought it would put me in the 53,000 range (I know it's not 100% accurate due to belt slippage but still) and I really don't wanna blow HOT air in my motor since that'd be way outta the efficientcy range.
And yes I'm still power hungry..so that'd maybe help that as well.
Vortech has a upgrade program I was looking into...take my blower and credit me towards the T.
My setup is already good to go for a blower..so no "GET A TURBO"..I wish. And all the bracketts etc. work for the S to T swap.
I'm just thinking with the same pullies, it would make more power due to the CFM, and I wouldn't be over spinning it..and I'd have room to grow.
