Ok I have another post about geting the Xcal 2 and will be getting that soon. Now I wan't to get a TB and Plenium. I'm thinking of going with C&L/RPM series TB and Plenium Kit for $199. Seems like a good deal but is the kit any good? I was also thinking of getting pullies but don't no if they would be worth it. What do you guys think?

I'd think that brand is as good as quality as most.....and most brands will net similar gains. Accufab is awesome, but probably not worth the money unless you're just wiping your butt with it.

I'd ditch the tb, plenum, and pullies, and

+1 on the gears.

I would pass on the plenum and TB and get gears instead.
If you are trying to get the best MPG get FRPP 3.73's or 3.90's
if you don't really care about MPG get FRPP 4.10's.

I'm going to be getting my hood scope painted black and I think I'm going to go wingless. I will be getting FRPP 4.10 gears and VT stage one cams also this year.

ignore what pennywise2 is saying about getting good gas mileage cause im sure you didnt buy your stang for fuel economy. Get the 4.10s lol go big or go home.

I have the RPM/C&L plenum and Professional Products 75mm TB.

I noticed a small gain, and if all the plenum/tb combo's make around the same power then I wouldnt pay more than this combo. Every little bit counts, but I think gears would give alot more bang for the buck. If you just want to get the TB and plenum out of the way, id go for it. Only complaint about that particular combo was the fitting. It bolted together fine but the TB didnt match 100% with the opening of the plenum. Im not sure if it was the TB or plenum that had the bad casting... I dont think it affects performance though, there is nothing blocking it.

there isn't hardly a gas mileage difference between 3.73s and 4.10s. probably isn't a change.
