took th gt to the track a couple of weekends ago and my times were a lil slow i thought. i had a r/t=.23 60'=2.03 and a e/t of 9.2 last weekend. last year i pulled a 8.8 b4 i put my chip in. i didn't really spin when i ran the 8.8. i spun a lil with the 9.2 last weekend. but it was like a a second maybe then a let off and got back on it. i mean i got beat by a stock mustang. that kinda really pissed me off considering my mods. anybody have any advice as far as next mod or any advice on whats up.

your 60ft is good i am surprised too here you were spinning. there is a lot that goes into what your car runs on different days. you really need too find the weather info every time you go too the track and use the calulator on modular depot to figure out your DA number. with out a DA number it's impossible too compare runs ran on different nights.

im having the same issue as you but my times are worse.. i think ive found my issue though. im running nitto dr's.. i do a good burnout to heat them up. i was launching at about 3-4k and spun for a second and then was ok, nothign to bad. but when i shifted into 2nd the car bogged down.. so im thinking that im just not getting the speed for 2nd though when i shift i was at 5500-6000 rpms each time. gonna try a much easier launch this friday and see if it helps

What were your trap speeds both times? That could show the problem too

i would chalk it up to track conditions. maybe a head wind instead of a tail wind. its a game of thousandths so many things can make u lose time.

yeah i am tackin it up bout 3k-3500 i think that could be my problem al lil with spinning if i get it down to bout 2k-3k maybe i will have a much smoother launch. plus im running the factory tires so i dont get much sticky.
