Is there a difference between a timing chain cover from a 5.0 ho and a 5.0 non HO, or a difference between roller and flat tappet?

I'm gonna use this cover on my 88 GT if possible and just wanted to know if i could use that cover. Possibly an 85 cover but not sure, thats all the info i have.

thx :D

LEARN FROM MY MISTAKES! I can tell you this: Early 302's and 351's have a differant coolant passage on the rear of the water pump. Found out when I tried to put my 351w (1986 truck reverse rotation aluminum) pump on my windsor. I also had to buy a fuel pump block off plate as I am running electric. Newer covers (efi) have no need for a block off. NOW that I have a 351w from 72 pump, standard rotation cast iron, on my motor, my damn serpentine pulley holes don't line up with the waterpump! BUY a front cover from a 5.0l efi and be done with it! I wish I did. :bs:
