I had to replace my water pump this past weekend....and found that my timing cover is cracked. I got my new cover in and it looks like it has a place to mount a speed sensor in the lower right hand corner. Mine is a 89 and does not have a speed sensor. My question is will this cove still work?

Thanks

That not it. It's located on the front...lower passenger side down by the timing pointer.

With a few mods I got it to work. Drilling out a broken bolt was a Bitc$ though.
