TIming question

how do you know what your Timing is set to I heard 13 or 14 is normal but how do you know what is set to?

You need a timing gun/light.

Stock timing is 10. But I just checked mine for the first time the other day and it read around 8 or 9. I advanced it to 12... Runs pretty good.

it is strange that someone would run less than stock advance on a fox. I would want to make sure the balancer had not slipped, which skews the timing advance reading.
