Timing??

How much timing shoul I run on a 95 cobra? Motor is stock except for headers.

it all depends on the car. i have seen some ping with anything more than 12*. with premium gas, i had mine at 14*. just advance it little by little and listen for pinging.

There is no set number for timing. I think 10* is stock right? I can't hardly run advanced timing, so I just leave mine stock. Like he said, just try a little more until you get pinging.

yes, 10* is stock.

I have mine set at 15*, I have aftermarket heads though, stock it wouldnt go more than 13*.
