timming and stuff on a tfs1 cam.

Okay i pulled my tfs1 cam out of my dss motor and on the crank gear theres 3 slots for the keyway to go threw.Which one do i use theres the striaght up off to the left which i would think means retarded and then off to the right which means advanced?

How was it installed when you removed it and what rpm did the powerband kick in?
