had 30% tint and got pulled over for it and had to get it removed because the legal limit is 35% he told me in PA. Cop did a full U-turn in the middle of the street to come get me for my tint in front of other cars. Guess cops dont like 16 year olds driving 5.0 mustangs or something.

I'm going to get a doctors note. I don't think it will be that hard to get one. I'll probably claim eye strain since I work thirds and driving home on a summer morning is a pain.

Legal limit here is 35% and it's enough for me for the back glass. I have trouble just seeing out the hatch at night with my window tint removed. I had tint at around 44%, but it was about 10 years old and had turned purple so I planned on getting it redone. Removed it, and it never happened lol. Horsepower took over.

Cops dont like tint on cars because it is unsafe to them....you try walking up to a car you just stopped not being able to see what the driver is doing inside....he could be pointing a gun at you.

I'm getting tint soon 5% in the back and 15% on the side.

I put 35% (legal limit at the time) on my side windows and 20% on my quarters and hatch 5 years ago when I bought the car, and one month later, Missouri changed the laws so you can go darker. I think 35 is nearly worthless if you're doing it for looks. You can see in my car nearly as well now as with clear glass. If I were to do it again, I'd probably go 20% on the sides and 5 or 10 on the quarters and hatch. However, if you have trouble seeing, keep that in mind because obviously the tint will be harder to see through. I do fine now, but it took some adjustments to get used to it.
