it's veeeery rare for me to see a car that is un-tinted and not think "wow, that thing would benefit from some tint" in the case of really stock-looking, super clean low mileage classics and foxes that are trying to achieve a "just rolled off the showroom floor" look, i actually prefer no tint... but for a car that is clearly modded or heavily worked, tint is the only way to go... not only does it protect interior pieces from sun damage and keep the interior cooler in the summer, it also just makes the car look 10x better in my humble but honest opinion

tint has been the first mod on every car i've ever bought since i've been driving, aside from the typical oil change/tune-up of course

For me it depends on the car. If it's a stock looking car i don't mind them without tint. I also don't like really dark tint on some cars...i think it looks cheap. You've gotta have the right paint to go with dark tint...like black for example. I also can't stand a car with lighter tint on the doors and darker tint in the back. I had to do my Jeep that way because of the laws around here and it's bugged me ever since i got it done.

I'm old and stuff. I pulled the tint off my car when I got it LOL. I couldn't see crap at night. Some cars do look good with it and it does definently protect the interior. I just don't care for it on my vehicles.

I think it has to do with the overall look of the car, color, mods, etc. It looks great (IMO) on a Stang that's black, yellow, orange, but not all that great on some other colors. Check your local laws too.

I'm not "old" yet, getting there (34), but yeah its a mutha sometimes backing up in pitch black darkness. Nothing like rolling the window down and hanging your head out to see.

I got 3M 20% all the way around even though my local law is 30%.

Tinting was a must for me. My laws say 30%, but I got 15% anyways and I love it. (And so do most people that comment on my car).

I won't drive a vehicle without tint. Both my Cobra's (and past Mustangs) my girls car and my truck all have tint of some kind.

I must be "old," too. I've had tint of various percentages on a few cars, and more often than not I wound up pulling it off (usually because it was all bubbled-up). Tint makes it a major hassle to see at night, and even in daylight it can be annoying because most of them make things a little blurry/wavy because of the little ripples in the film. And, of course, it inevitably turns blue and bubbles up with time, and random things tend to scratch/gouge it up, so you have to redo or have it redone every couple of years.

I'd like to tint the windows on both my Foxes, but so far I can't justify the expense or the hassle of putting it on, even in Arizona ... and neither of my cars have A/C.

Tint the darker the better I have 35% on all my cars and have not had a problem yet. If you getpulled over roll down the windows and the cops dont care at least aroun here anyway.
