May seem like a stupid question but does anyone know how to stop the streak mark inside my windows after I got them tinted? Seems like there are more and more and I am assuming its from the track guards or whatever they are called down inside the door. Any suggestions?

what year is the car? the latest inner window seals help reduce it. moleskin is another option.

my 05 is scratched pretty bad because the tint installer insisted i didnt need the moleskin.

It is a 2006. I dont know what moleskin is either. If this tells you anything, the guy scratched my quarter window on the outside while cutting out the template. He paid to have it replaced but to cut a groove into the glass like he did I was amazed.

Here is a good link I used for moleskin:

Moleskin (for window tint) install w/pics and vids - MustangForums.com

But I ended up just buying the FORD 2008 window pieces to replace mine in my 2007 Mustang. No more scratches:

Ford Part numbers:

So they changed the material for '08's? I didn't get my windows tinted while I was home because I was waiting to get moleskin. So do I really not need it with an '08?

The '08 weather stripping features moleskin. I bought 2 trim pieces for my '05.
