Me and my friend will be installing front springs on my 03 gt in a day or two. Any info yall can give me. We will have a spring compressor and we are taking off eibach sportlines and installing fox body 4 cylinder springs. Any info is appreciated. This will be my first spring install

Thanks
Josh

Follow that and it should be a simple task. It took me less than 2 1/2 hrs to install the fronts, including the time my friend came over to distract me. It shouldnt be hard to do. Jack car up and put jackstands inplace. Unbolt caliper and make sure to get it out of the way. Get the ABS harness out of the way also, you dont want to 'Kiss Me''Kiss Me''Kiss Me''Kiss Me' that up. Jack up A arm. Unbolt Struts. Decompress jack, lower strut & A-arm and pry bar the hell out of the springs. and reverse procedure. Easier to do than having to 'Kiss Me''Kiss Me''Kiss Me''Kiss Me' around with the Tie-Rod ends and then needing to get an alignment. :nice:

Sorta off topic but not, I cut half a coil off my Fox 4 cyl springs and left the isolators off and my car looks dropped like a bitch. I got like around 1 3/4" of wheel gap left :D.
Ill get some pics posted in a week or two.

Well said, however you shouldnt need a prybar or spring compressors if you are removing sportlines. Once you let the a-arm down after unbolting the strut, the spring should pull right out. :nice:
